Das Universal-Backlot-Gelände, auf dem das Courthouse, das Café und das komplette Stadtzentrum von "Hill Valley" stehen, ist ein eigens für Dreharbeiten erstellter Bereich der Universal Studios mit Häuserfassaden-Attrappen. Es wurde bereits ab 1948 genutzt und ist daher auch in vielen anderen Filmen, Serien und Shows zu sehen!
